Using DAYO

DAYO Fishing provides tools and community features for anglers to explore fishing destinations in the Philippines, share catches, find listings, and plan trips. You may use the service only in a lawful manner and in line with these Terms.

These Terms apply to all visitors, members, contributors, listing owners, and anyone who interacts with DAYO.

Accounts and access

Provide accurate information when you create an account, keep it current, and protect your password or Google sign-in account. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you promptly tell us about unauthorised use.

Some features require a verified email address or a membership tier. We may require reasonable information to verify an account, listing, or payment-related request.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit to DAYO. By publishing it, you give DAYO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt for technical display, distribute, and display that content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the service.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate another person's rights, privacy, or the law. You can ask us to remove your content, subject to any reasonable retention, backup, legal, or safety needs described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use DAYO to:

• post false, deceptive, abusive, unlawful, or infringing material;
• misrepresent a catch, location, listing, business, identity, licence, or affiliation;
• harass others, send spam, scrape the service, bypass security, or interfere with its operation;
• upload malware or attempt unauthorised access; or
• encourage or facilitate activity that violates fishing, environmental, safety, consumer-protection, or other applicable laws.

Listings, trips, and events

Charters, stays, events, guides, and other listings may be created by independent users or businesses. DAYO does not guarantee their availability, quality, safety, pricing, licences, insurance, or suitability, and is not a party to an arrangement you make with a listing owner unless we clearly say otherwise.

You are responsible for checking current conditions, licences, insurance, safety requirements, cancellation terms, and applicable fishing and travel rules before taking a trip or making a booking.

Memberships, rewards, and payments

Where offered, DAYO memberships are one-time purchases that apply a membership tier for the stated period; they are not recurring subscriptions unless a checkout page explicitly says otherwise. Manual payment instructions, pricing, and any applicable confirmation steps are shown before an order is completed.

DAYO points, XP, referral bonuses, uploads, discounts, and other rewards are programme features, not money or property. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and may be adjusted or removed where reasonably necessary to prevent error, abuse, or fraud.

DAYO content and services

The DAYO name, branding, site design, and original platform content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the service for its intended personal or business purposes, but you may not copy, resell, or exploit the platform or its content without permission.

Disclaimers and liability

DAYO is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep it useful and reliable, but we do not promise that every listing, location, weather reference, catch record, or other community-supplied detail is complete, current, or accurate.

To the extent allowed by applicable law, DAYO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the service, a listing, a trip, or user-submitted content. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes, suspension, and contact

We may update these Terms, suspend features, or restrict or close an account when reasonably needed to protect DAYO, users, legal compliance, or service integrity. If we make a material change, we will post the updated Terms here with a new date.
